Thank you to all that volunteered to chaperone! Chaperones, please come to school in the morning with your child. We will talk about the plans for the day before we load the kids on the Buses. Birthdays
We will celebrate your child's birthday on or near his/her birthday. If your child's birthday is in the summer, we will celebrate in May. I will contact you and let you know when we will celebrate your child's birthday. You may send in store bought treats. If you want to bring the treats into the classroom, you will need to schedule a time with me so that I can add you to the secretary's list. We currently have 24 children in the class.
Pizza Hut Book-It Program
From October to March, your child will have the opportunity to earn a coupon for a free personal pan pizza each month. To earn the coupon, your child needs to read or be read to for 20 minutes a night for a total of 100 minutes per week. Have your child color the picture on the day's date for each night that they read or are read to. Then sign the Pizza Hut Book-It Reading Log in your child's Rocket Folder. At the end of the month, I will collect the Reading Logs and send home the coupon! Have fun reading and enjoy some free pizza!
